Ebisu Drift Circuit | RB. Drift Runner

The is a drifting level for a mobile game inspired by Ebisu and Japanese mountains.

Wanted some fall colors in the forest to highlight the beautiful Japanese Maples which can be found all over mountain sides within Japan.

I also experimented with using Elevation data with the GIS plugin in blender to get a good baseline for topography. For the track I used spline modelling techniques with subtle banking shifts in order to get the tracks curves. Using an Array modifier, I generated the road then layered a secound array mesh on top for the driftmarks which has transparency. I created two foliage collections; trees and grass. I then used a particle system with weight painting to generate the trees and grass.
